Strong breezes, mostly from the north, are combining with the cold to make it feel very raw outside today. The city crews are plowing out the sidewalk mounds and ridges and blowing them into dump trucks. Not a good day to be out and about. Mr. Kitty has the right idea, sleeping on one of his many thrones, he gives the notion of being a peaceful cat... yeah right.
I've been outside in the yard with the dogs a few times, some light flurries going on. They don't want to stay out long either. The breeze makes it feel -13 now.
I grilled a piece of sirloin and had it with toast, caught up on the news (a lot weather related) and bundled up to get a movie. I'm not feeling too guilty just hanging out today. Sometimes a day is needed to just "catch up".
Baby Hazel continues to slowly recover from surgery, getting ready to be weaned off her bypass machine. Lots of good thoughts and Prayers are being sent to her and her entire family.
Not much going on in Brainerd, just a blustery Winter day of relaxation.
