We were not sure what to expect outside when we woke up this morning.. It did appear to be a little glazed, but WOW, there is a thick ice coating over everything.
I talked to Scooter and Charlie and made certain they went out to do their thing slowly.. calmly... they are so powerful and excitable, that they could "fishtail" on the ice, go down and twist a hind leg... they must have sensed the conditions and were pretty careful. Charlie did go down flat on his butt when he tried to stop and turn, but that was all it took for him to learn to slow down.
Peggy and I will attempt to go and do a bit of shopping, explore the roads a bit, and have fun. I hope the roads are sanded and conditions improve so that our week-end company, son Charlie and his fiance~ Kaylee can safely get here.
We'll post more later on what mischief we get into, other news of the day.
So nice to semi-hibernate this morning, feeling Blessed in Life and Love!
Peace!
