Hibernating on Super Sunday and 3 in a Row!

Not heavy snow, just powdery and steady.... We did go to the later church service, picked up some treats, a little fun shopping, then home to see what the weather would bring. We cozied in and watched "Kill Bill" just for yucks. We decided not to take our "road trip" because of the Winter Storm Warnings, so just checked the DOT map online once in a while and watched the states road conditions deteriorate, glad we stayed home.

It's like the pets sense the bad weather and keeping their eyes on us, just hang out. 3 cats in a row on the back of the loveseat while we made some good pasta sauce for later. We had gone to Morey's Fish Shop and got 3 kinds of pickled herring... fantastic with Herb Triskets. Good coffee, snuggling and peeking outside at the snow made for a fun day.


We got the boys a new nylon tooth cleaning chew bone and they love it... their paws are so agile, it is fun to watch them manipulate it in their mouths... We'll have to get another one so they won't have to share so much, there is another nylon bone, but not as fancy and they both want the new one.

We crashed on the loveseat and watched the Super Bowl game, more interested in our treats and the funny ads than the game but had fun with it all. 7-up and ice cream spritzers, cookies and other fun treats kept us going, nice not caring who won, just enjoying the Who Halftime Show and the great entertainment.

I just came in from blowing out the driveway and back yard paths for the dogs, Peggy and I will pick up the house some then venture out and see what Brainerd is like this Winter day... we always have fun at stores and may go out for lunch too.
