Aww, go fly a kite!

Great weather was an extra bonus this last weekend.

Peggy and I had so much fun at our dance lessons last Wednesday evening.... learning some swing-moves, spins and turns, one song was a little too fast and we both laughed so hard trying to keep up that we almost fell over.

Work, arranging the house, and lots of good relaxing ended the week, with a BIG surprise.

Peggy got a new bicycle. I picked it up after work
on Friday after the shop had finished putting on
her cool "rrring rrring" bell and bottle cage. I brought it home and found Peggy sunning in a lawn chair. Kind of sneaking up on her to surprise her, I heard a feint mewing from next door direction. It was Mr. Kitty. He had somehow snuck outside and disappeared. Searching, calling and more searching for 8 days, we figured he had gone into another home. He had lost a little weight, but was REALLY glad to be back in the house, hardly stopped purring long enough to eat.

I'll have a picture later of Peggy's new Giant Dash bike... beautiful, and with me towing the dogs in
their trailer, went for a nice long ride Friday evening.

Saturday, son Charlie came to visit. I had the coals all hot, steaks marinading, and other good food ready for the night. We visited, ate a real Minnesota Spring meal and had a real good time hanging out.

Sunday, after church, we all headed up to Grand Rapids to visit and fly kites. The wind died down, teasing us with occasional breezes, and made it difficult so show off our flying skills to Gage. Peggy got 2 different kinds of kites, a dragon and
"Lightning McQueen" kite for Gage to chase and watch. We did get one up for a short while before in true Charlie Brown fashion, came down into the only little tree in the area.

I drove Charlie back to Brainerd so he could head home and we chatted about his upcoming wedding and other good stuff.

This should be a great week for getting a few things done outside, finishing with our bedroom move to the upstairs and other good things. We did get the cable tv box moved on the side of the house where the new deck is going, and we got a call from Home Depot that our doors are in!.... whoopee!

Grateful for all the Blessings and Guidance in our Love and Lives!

Peace!
