Spring Week of Busy Fun

The weather cooperated, in fact it's been Sunny and a bit too dry. Peggy and I were having so much fun and staying busy this last week, there wasn't really even time to post on here. Early bedtimes, catching up on sleep and great projects filled our week.

We did take the Kingpin out for a couple nice rides too, back roads, seeing the area turn green, beautiful blue lakes, very nice cruising.

After getting most of our bedroom moved upstairs, the "office" coming together, and some other organizing, it was time to get ready for the new back door.

Emptying the room out, sorting and imagining, we got set for the cutting and installation.

The wall was cut out, level flooring assured, and WHAM, in slides the door set.

Of course, there's always "something"... there were some flooring layers we had to pry up and get rid of. 5 layers in fact.... I called and had a dumpster delivered Friday, and we spent Saturday prying and carrying out the old flooring.
Hard work, prying and being down on the floor, but Peggy baked unbelievable Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies for snacking!

We got the dumpster about 2/3 full, pictures later of that!

Now to finish the inside wall of the door-wall, get our paint and have more fun. The deck components are ordered and getting ready for delivery too.

This morning I brought the Kingpin to the dealer and had the 500 mile "going over". Oil change and a top to bottom, front to back, adjustment and check-out. Cool, now just easy break-in driving and nothing needs to be done for 3000 miles. Even got a new license plate!

Keeping busy, feeling great and enjoying the Blessings of a wonderful Spring in Brainerd!

Peace!
