Another Great Week of Weather, Work and Fun!

With garden work, eating well and just plain Spring Silliness and Fun, this has been another wonderful week!

More pictures on the way of our FINISHED DECK soon, it turned out better than we imagined. We really enjoy sitting outside and having our supper, morning coffee and just listening to the birds and watching the dogs. Fleet had an incredible sale and we bought a huge petunia planter... hopefully it will attract more humming birds and pretty moths.

I got the new ceiling light fixture installed in our
Sun room... the color is perfect and the tinted glass shade gives just the right hue to the room now.

We've got a new rock garden in the front yard!... we just had to find homes for the big rocks in the yard, so a kidney shaped free style garden was in order. A sedum, and some other bulbs, and 2 flowering perennials were put in on Saturday... I'll post pictures of it when it all comes out of shock. Very Nice!

Sweet Peggy planted tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and zucchini... I put the cages around them to keep them safe... we doubled the size of our vegie garden and I planted a row of green beans, beets next.

Having a friends roto-tiller to use was great! We turned up a row garden along both sides of the back fence, put in a corner garden for ornamental grasses and did some other
work before returning it... cool, and we'll have to post pictures of those projects soon.

Peggy's new bike rides like a charm! After a couple weeks around town, we went Sunday to Nisswa for coffee and back... about 38 miles round trip. We were lucky and "just missed" a few rain showers and enjoyed all the scenery, saw a deer leap over the trail and an elusive black squirrel.

Stopping for trail mix and water at Merrifield, 8 adults and about 22 baby geese swam by... what a beautiful sight for a Sunday morning!

We talked, rode and thoroughly enjoyed our ride coming home to make hearty chili for supper.

It will be great to have some of these big projects done so we can do more recreational activities now... the kayaks are beckoning along with the canoe. Hot or warm Sunny days, cool nights for sleeping has made this Spring about the best ever!

Doing so many fun things, it is hard to remember to take pictures of everything and post about it all... how good is that?

Reservations made for air travel from Brainerd to Las Vegas and the hotel for Son Charlies wedding.... oh yeah!

A Spring of Love, Blessings and Fun Growth of all kinds....

Peace!
